Refund Policy
Cancellation and Refund Terms for Catamaran & Yacht Charters
At Private Catamaran Phuket, we strive to be transparent about our cancellation terms. Please review the following policies applicable to all our Catamaran and Yacht private charters.
Cancellation & Deposit Rules
- Cancel 30 days or more prior to the charter date: 100% refund of the deposit.
- Cancel 30 days or less prior to the charter date: No refund of the deposit.
- No show on tour day: No refund of the deposit.
High Season Policy (November – April)
Due to extremely high demand during the peak season in Phuket, specific payment terms apply:
During high season (November – April), the full price needs to be paid as a deposit in order to reserve the boat. The standard cancellation terms above (30 days notice) apply to this deposit.
Weather Conditions & Route Changes
Safety is our primary concern. Please note the following regarding itinerary changes:
- Captain’s Discretion: Due to circumstances in boat travel (tides, wind, swell), the captain may spontaneously change the route and set a new destination for the protection of the passengers.
- Unreachable Destinations: It cannot be ruled out that the tour destination requested by the customer cannot be reached due to weather conditions or other environmental influences. In such cases, an alternative route will be proposed. No refund will be given for itinerary changes made for safety reasons.
Time Management & Itinerary
Time management is the customer’s responsibility. The captain will follow customer requests and adjust the itinerary accordingly, as long as they remain within the main route and timeframe.
If a customer chooses to modify the planned route, spend more time at a specific location, or delays departure, the captain will accommodate these changes where possible. However, this may result in some locations being skipped to stay on schedule and return to the pier on time.
No refund will be given for missed locations due to customer-requested delays or itinerary modifications.
Refund Processing
If you are eligible for a refund according to the terms above, please contact us via WhatsApp or Email. The money you paid will be credited to the payment method you have on file within 7 working days.
